Even the most experienced interviewers have walked away from this training with the ability to ask more effective questions, read people better and make more informed employment decisions.

This program will assist you to:

  • Review your current interviewing techniques and uncover opportunities for development
  • Improve your skills in eliciting accurate and relevant information
  • Enhance listening and communication skills and build better rapport with people
  • Gain a greater awareness of question types and structure and how to apply them for maximum success
  • Adapt your behaviour to build stronger rapport
  • Recognise when a person may be withholding important information or telling a lie
  • Learn how to write and ask effective competency based behavioural questions
  • Learn how to record and measure responses from a candidate
  • Increase confidence to conduct more effective interviews and make wise employment decisions
  • Practice your new skills with others in a supportive training environment

Who should take part in this training program?

Any person who is involved in conducting face-to-face or telephone employment interviews. This includes HR staff that may be conducting daily interviews, through to Managers who might occasionally become involved in staff selection interviews and meetings. Programs are customised to ensure all participants gain significant growth and new skills - from new interviewers to the most experienced professionals.

Program duration:

This program is delivered in a one and two day format (does not have to be consecutive days). There is also a half-day refresher program and a one day Advanced Program available.
